This unique and fabulous Best of Morocco Tour is full of adventures, attractions, and the best destinations in Morocco. You will visit the imperial cities, the mountains, the valleys, explore the desert as well as the seaside. This is a tour for those who want it all !

Trip Description

Day 1: Arrival To Casablanca

Transfer from the airport to your accommodation. A group meeting is taking place at the hotel lobby at 18 :00pm. First evening meal together in Casablanca.

Day 2:Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes

After breakfast, a short drive will take us to the stunning Hassan II mosque in Casablanca which has the tallest minaret and is considered to be the third largest mosque in the world.  After that we will jump in the comfy bus and head straight to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to visit Oudaia Kasbah, Hassan tower, the Royal palace, and Chellah, before we continue driving towards Mekner for the night.33

Day 3: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Today we will go from Rabat to Chefchaoun, a nice town in the Rif mountains. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the beautiful town, a place of peace and tranquility, as we will stay here for 2 nights.  You can visit the main square of Chefchaouen, the central mosque, and, of course, the market!4

Day 4: Sightseen in Fes

After breakfast we will visit the Akshour Waterfalls, just 40 minutes drive from  Chefchaoun. You will explore the surrounding area and spend the day in the nature !5

Day 5 : Fes – Midelt

Today’s journey will go through the Rif Mountains to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Fes El Bali. The Rif Mountains are still relatively unexplored by tourists which is what makes this place so precious. After exploring this hidden part of our country we will take you to Fes.6

Day 6 : Midelt – Merzouga

You will have a guided tour of largest medieval city in the world with its medina and souks learning about the fascinating history of this city while wandering along its beautiful streets.7

Day 7 : Merzouga – Todra Gorge

Today we visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis which according to UNESCO is “an exceptionally well preserved example of a large Roman colonial town on the fringes of the Empire”. Next we will go to the Middle Atlas mountains with a stop at Midelt. This is a beautiful alpine area surrounded by huge pine trees – a great spot to cool down and relax after the hustle and bustle of Fes.8

Day 8 : Todra Gorge – Ait Benhaddou

Today we will leave Midelt and hit the road in the direction of the Atlas mountains to get to the beautiful Todgha Gorge.9

Day 9 : Ait Benhaddou – Zagora – Erg Chegaga

During our trip to Zagora we will pass the Saghro Mountains set in one of the most remote regions in Morocco and inhabited by the Ait Atta nomad tribes. Here we will make sure to make a stop to enjoy spectacular views of this area.        10

Day 10: Erg Chegaga – Tata

After breakfast we will have a day trip to the Sahara of Hamada de Draa and the sand dunes of Morocco, Erg Chegaga. Get ready to spend the night in a Desert Camp under the open night sky!11

Day 11: Tata – Tafraoute

Today we will go to Lake Iriqui discovering the mountain region along with the ancient fossils found there. Then we will drive directly to Tata to stay there overnight.12

Day 12: Tafraoute – Essaouira

We will go to Tafraoute located in the Anti Atlas area with its beautiful Ammeln valley that is famous for its cultivation of almonds as well as traditional shoes or Babboush.   13

Day 13: Essaouira

Today’s drive is truly stunning as we will drive along the Atlantic Coast on our way to Essaouira. This artists’ city is a former Portuguese trading colony, rich in history and culture waiting to be discovered!14

Day 14: Essaouira – Marrakech

We will have a city tour in the morning visiting this seaside medieval town with its lovely white and blue houses, colonnades, Thuya wood workshops, art galleries, and delicious seafood. In the evening we will hit the road returning to the Red City.15

Day 15: Marrakech – End of the trip
