Agafay Desert
In Agafay desert tour, you will explore an amazing Sahara, located just at 30 kilomiters southwest of Marrakech between Lalla Takerkoust Lake from the east, Hight Atlas mountains from the south. You will explore an unspoilt nature of desert and scraps area in a perfect one day excurssion from Marrakech.
Agafay desert’s landscape is covred with wheat, barley, and flowers. However, in summer and autumn, it looks like the real desert with the flowing dunes and the bonus of majestic views of the hight Atlas mountains
Trek Description
Our Agafay desert day trip starts from your accomodation at 9:30. We jump into the wan, and we take M’hamid direction to kasbah Agafay. We cross the arid area of Agafay towards Lalla Takerkoust lake, on the way to berber villages ( possibility to share a cap of tee with a berber family). After lunch in Takerkoust we drive back to Marrakech.
